Jeff is a Senior Program Manager for Deloitte Services, LP, one of the “Big Four” accounting and professional services firms. He holds a BA from University of Oregon and an MBA from Babson College. Jeff is a Captain in the US Army Reserves and has over 21 years of military experience. He has previous board experience as both the Treasurer and President of the Plainfield Public Library Board of Trustees in Plainfield, NJ. Jeff and his family moved to Colorado four years ago and began their experience with Tae Kwon Do shortly after. Jeff is currently a Second Degree Recommended Black Belt, two-time Colorado State Champion, and an Instructor Trainee. His wife, Heather and daughters, Parker and Ellie, are each First Degree Black Belts from the Conifer Paragon School.

Beth is currently the Chief Financial Officer for Healing Waters International in Golden, Colorado charged with strategic and operational financial management for the organization whose mission is to bring clean & sustainable water to communities around the world. She has excelled in leadership and management in for-profit and non-profit enterprises throughout her professional career. Beth also serves as President of G-Force Powersports; a family owned and operated business founded in Denver in 2006. For six years prior to G-Force, Beth served as Vice President of Finance for Mothers of Preschoolers International, Inc.
Beth's undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Finance from Creighton University. Subsequently she earned a Master of Accounting degree from the University of Southern California. In 2011 Beth expects to complete her work on a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Colorado, Denver. Beth is also an active Certified Public Accountant.
She and her husband Brent are the proud parents of two boys; Grayson, age eight and a 1st Degree Black Belt and Jack, age four and a Tiny Tiger Yellow Belt. They live in Golden, Colorado. Email Beth

Sara Webb

Sara is a high school English and Reading teacher who has been working with at-risk youth and teens in Jefferson County for 10 years. She has 11 year old twins, Brett and Chloe. Sara started her involvement with the ATA seven years ago when Brett became a Tiny Tiger. Now, the whole family trains at Action Family ATA in Golden, Colorado. Brett and Chloe are both 2nd degree black belts and 2009 Colorado State Champions in several areas. Sara is a blue belt and loves training with her kids as well as all of the other kids and adults at Action Family. Sara, Brett and Chloe all value taekwondo as one of the most important part of their lives. In fact, when Chloe was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in December of 2008, her doctor’s credited her participation in taekwondo as one of the key factors in stabilizing her diabetes.

Rosemary Sargent
Senior Energy Systems Integration Engineer

Rosemary Sargent has been a practicing systems engineer for over twelve years. She has worked predominantly in the aerospace sector, specifically in human spaceflight, launch vehicles and communications satellite systems engineering and integration. She also has work experience in commercial power generation and renewable energy. She has worked for a variety of companies including Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company, Raytheon, Hughes Space and Communications Company and Dominion Energy. She holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and is currently a senior systems engineer with the Systems Engineering and Program Integration Office at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Golden CO, where she is primarily tasked to the Geothermal Technologies Program.
Rosemary is a second degree ATA black belt and certified instructor and has headed the Paragon Leadership Team. Her son Eric is a first degree black belt and daughter Allie is a green belt. Email Rosemary

Jesse King

A consultant in the arenas of leadership, organizational development and philanthropy, King has assisted numerous corporate, government, and non-profit leaders with projects ranging from strategic planning, to operational reorganization, including capacity assessments, and organizational cultural projects. He is presently a founding partner and managing director of Fulcrum Advisors, a privately held consulting firm supporting philanthropic activity and leadership development.
He also works as an adjunct trainer with the federal government's Office of Personnel Management and as adjunct staff for the Center for Creative Leadership. King is active in the Colorado community and serves as the chair of the Chinook Fund and a board member for the Denver Community Foundation. He recently completed service on the board of the Colorado Association of Funders.
King's prior positions and assignments have included an executive position with the Daniels Fund, a management position with the Rockefeller Foundation and leadership positions with the Children's Defense Fund, Black Community Crusade for Children, and Colorado Outward Bound School.
Jesse trained in the martial arts and achieved the rank of 2nd Degree Black Belt. He is also a certified instructor.

William is the founder of Paragon Martial arts. He has over 30 years of martial arts training and martial arts instruction experience and over 25 years owning and operating martial arts schools and clubs in Iowa, Arkansas and Colorado. Currently he and his instructors have over 2,000 students that train in operations that he started. He has been recognized with the American Taekwondo Association's Instructor of the Year Award, and has the title of Master Instructor with a Gold Collar, representing the ATA's highest achievement in martial arts instruction. He is also the former Head Coach for the prestigious World Demo Team that represented martial arts values around the world. Currently William is developing staff to open a series of Paragon Martial Arts schools in the Denver area.
Lura Roberts

Founder, Pilsung Youth Initiative
Lura Roberts in owner and Chief Instructor of Paragon Martial Arts Conifer. A 5th Degree Black Belt, community service started young with her playing the violin for seniors at the age of 5 years old. By age 12, she was making quilts for the non profit organization People Comforters, and at age 14 she became one of the youngest members of Park County Search and Rescue. At age 22, she founded and incorporated the Pilsung Youth Initiative, an organization dedicated to providing financial aid for kids who want to participate in martial arts training.
